You show up for your sessions on the scheduled day and time.
You sweat it out, follow his/her cues and push through a 1-hour session thanks to the trainer’s rah rah support. But for the rest of the week....​you’re on your own....

You’ll plonk yourself down on the yoga mat in your living room and try to keep up with the 100 sit ups (possibly sneak in a bite of chocolate in between). Swear to yourself that you’ll resume the workout in a few minutes which doesn’t ALWAYS happen...

4 Common Myths Why You Can’t Get a Sculpted Body
(and how to put an end to them)
Myth # 1: I need to go on a crash diet/remove dairy, meat and ALL animal products to see the results in my body.
Most attempts to fix or solve a person’s body shape and achieve a lifelong predictable weight, will be temporary solutions, to a much deeper set of specific challenges.

For women, hormones are at the forefront of most of their body weight concerns.

So, it’s imperative that the training should be designed to positively effect and control hormone fluctuations. Eating should be designed to control and manufacture the right hormonal balance and not overindulge the body with excess energy that will inevitably store as surplus energy.....also known as FAT!

Yo-yo dieting will drastically effect your metabolism in the long term. Often clients form a romantic relationship with certain diets that achieve quick results, not realising that it could cause metabolic damage and make fat-loss difficult in future.

The ultimate solution is to train and feed the muscle (yes, you read that right) to reverse ageing and get to the desired body fat and weight.
Myth # 2: I need to hit the gym more/do more cardio/less cardio/more weights etc - so that I can a toned body
Regardless of what training methods or routines you’re using , your ​plan also needs to change as your body changes.
Doing more of the same isn’t the answer.

And because you’re not a fitness professional or a certified personal trainer, it’s next to impossible to keep abreast of your body stats (r​ead:​ BMI, body fat, body weight, lean body mass etc.)

Even if you know these numbers, you won’t know what tweaks to make in your training, what routines you should do and what weight you need to throw on that bench press.

So, you then rely on guesswork. Or memory. Or follow a celebrity’s workout routine because she lost 10 kilos in a month. You’re either doing too much. Too little. Or worse, the wrong things in your workout routines.

And when the results don’t follow - you’re back to square one. Or you quit.
Myth # 3:​ “If I do a lot more weight training to sculpt my body, I’ll look like a man”
The fear that some women have of "bulking up" comes from not understanding that women have on average 10 times less testosterone than men.

Testosterone is essential in building the masses of muscle that they are referring to. When a lady particularly has a large muscle mass, and is still holding a lot of excess body fat, then she can often be considered "bulky".

Yet, if she sheds the extra fat, all of a sudden her body becomes every other woman’s dream body.

So don’t be afraid of weight training. It’s the combination of weights, a terrific nutrition plan and specific changes to your workout plan (as your body changes) that gets you the sculpted physique - minus the bulk of course.
Myth # 4 “​ I shouldn’t be training everyday. I need to give my body a day’s rest.”
I’m going to bust the biggest myth that’s been prevailing the fitness industry!

The one that gurus shout from the rooftops: “Don’t workout everyday”

I’m a BIG fan of training everyday. But of course, this isn’t about me, this is about you, so hear me out.

If you’re a person who loves to exercise everyday​, more power to you. As long as you’re not training ineffectively and you’re varying the intensity of your workouts - you’re on the right track. You need to balance high intensity training with low intensity exercises to accelerate your progress and do the right thing by your body.

This combination of high and low will ensure you don’t have muscle fatigue, burnout or exhaustion.

However...if you’re NOT a fan of exercising daily, I TOTALLY get it. ​You aren’t doomed as long as you’re varying the intensity on the days that you ​do​ workout.

What I can say from experience working with clients over 20 years is that the ones who belong in the second camp, eventually fall in love with working out daily. They start seeing the visual results, find pockets of time in their day to make exercise a priority and make this a lifestyle change.

So, the key thing to remember here is as long as you vary the intensity ​of your workouts - you’re in good shape .

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q.1 I’m in my 50’s & have menopause. Will this work for me?
Absolutely!
Age 40-55 is our biggest member demographic who have joined this program for this very reason - to combat hormonal changes that lead to weight gain and stop using quick weight loss plans to achieve results. Only when you train correctly and eat appropriately, will you see the desired muscle definition.
I also have specific training and nutrition concepts that have been formed across the past 20 years which have proven to "fast track" client results and force the body into changing.

I employ these methods particularly when clients have exposed their bodies to consistent yo yo dieting, inconsistent training methods and complete sedentary lifestyles.

Sometimes I may begin client-programs with these methods, other times I may call upon their use when I feel that something needs to change in their program because I am not satisfied with their current progress.
Q.2 I’m a woman and I don’t want to bulk up like a man. Will this program still work for me?
This is a myth that’s been around as long as weight training has! Allow me to nip this in the bud.

The fear that some women have of "bulking up" comes from NOT understanding that women have on average 10 times less testosterone than men. Testosterone is essential in building the masses of muscle that “bulking up” requires.

When a lady particularly has a large muscle mass, and is still holding a lot of excess body fat, then she can often be considered "bulky".

Yet, if she sheds the extra fat, all of a sudden her body becomes every other women’s “dream body”.
Q.3 I am a dude over 40. Will this work for me?
Absolutely! We have plenty of male members in this program too​ 

Because I customise each plan, whatever your desired goal and existing fitness levels, I will create a plan especially tailored to you and your lifestyle.
Q.4 I’m a vegetarian. Does this still work for me?
Yes! If you’re a vegetarian, I’ll customize the meal plans for you and substitute meat and fish in recipes with vegetarian options.

You’ll find recipes that call for beans, tofu, tempeh and seitan.
Q.5 Do I have to join the gym or buy any equipment?
I will customise your program to suit whatever equipment you have available, however I highly recommend that if you would like to fast-track your results then a gym membership would be ideal.

I include custom videos to suit the equipment at your gym to make the process of learning the exercises much less daunting. I can also be sure to include exercises that do not require a person to assist you, so that you can feel confident, safe and focus purely on improving upon your last session :-)

You will confidently walk into ANY gym and be able to use any machine and/or weight without hesitation or fear of looking like a fool!
Q.6 Do I have to use Isagenix?
Isagenix is a supplement system that includes both meal replacements and a cleansing protocol, which is simply a system to maximise intermittent fasting, having the correct cleansing products available to make this process much easier to follow through with.

I personally use Isagenix supplements myself, I highly vouch for their products and so do my clients.

But if you don’t want to use Isagenix, you don’t have to. I’ll give options to make liquid meals from scratch incorporate and cleansing.
Q.7 Can you confirm that there are no other charges or hidden costs beyond the initial investment?
There are no hidden costs. You can choose to include supplements that may assist in your transformation journey although they are not a necessity.

If you need help on choosing the right supplements for you, I’ll be happy to make some recommendations.
Q.8 What happens after I finish the LHO 16 Week Body Transformation program?
Great question!
Now that you’ve accomplished your desired body weight, achieved muscle definition and incorporated fitness as part of your healthy lifestyle, you’re faced with a BIGGER challenge. Maintenance!

I love a great transformation, but I enjoy an ongoing body transformation even more so. Once you've completed your LHO program, I would love to write up your next 16 week program to move you to the next level again.

You have a choice of having me coach you through the next 16 weeks (did someone say round 2 - heck yeah!), or you can have a 16 week written training & nutrition program that's based on your performance from your initial round of LHO. 

Option 1: You take up Round 2 of LHO
That's a great choice my friend! I'm excited for you... Everything you're used to stays up and running. You have full access to the app, the members area & my personalised training & nutrition coaching (level dependent) just as you've already experienced it. You'll stay on track and hitting more goals in no time!  

Opiton 2: You take the written plan & ride solo:
Awesome! You'll get a 16 week written training & nutrition plan. Let me be very clear, there's no coaching beyond this point. You will still have access to the LHO Video Vault in the members area (to check out how to safely perform the relevant movements on your program), but your access to the LHO app, weekly webinars & the LHO members facebook group will be revoked. 

Left to your own devices, it’s easier to fall back into the trap of being the lone warrior.  If you feel during this time that you'd prefer me coaching you, I will happily take the price of your written plan off of your 2nd round of LHO ($197).  
Q.9 What if I don’t choose one of the above options after I’m done with the signature program?
No problem!
You’ll always have access to the Members Area which includes the Kickstarter Kit, however your access to the 16 Week Body Transformation Program will be revoked.

You will have learnt how to train and eat right to continue to achieve great results.

Although, having me coach you will ensure you fast-track this process and completely take the guess-work out of training and eating for the long term.
Q.10 I’m a busy mum of three and I don’t have much time. Will this program work for me?
Yes it will!
But it depends on your expectations and I will work around those.
If you have high expectations and want to completely change your lifestyle, it will be essential to do at least a small amount of exercise​ daily ​to create a habit of training.

These will not all be intense sessions, however daily routine will ensure that you, the client no longer has to "think" about training, but instead it is now part of your every day routine.

It is essential that I manage expectations at the beginning of the program, otherwise a person may have unreasonable expectations with the time they have available and unknowingly they might be sabotaging their own success, before they start.

A classic week would be 3 weight training sessions that are no more than 40 minutes in duration 2 x ICE sessions which are 20 mins each. (​ICE stands for Intense Cardio Exercise)

That is a total of 2 hrs 20 mins in a 168 hour week. Completely doable, plus you’ll have accountability from me and the supporting members in the private Facebook Group.
Q.11 What if I’m overweight and live a sedentary lifestyle. How soon can I see results?
If a person is overweight or would like very quick results before they lose motivation, I opt to give them daily fasted cardio, which will be another 45 mins every day, to completely reset their metabolism.

With food, having 5 meals are essential, however to start, volume won’t be as important as the consistent increments of eating.

12% of the metabolism relies on the frequency of one’s eating. This is one of the most important habits to initially adapt. Once the metabolism kicks-in, them I begin to adjust the clients nutrition, feeding their metabolism to meet with this new-found efficiency to prevent their body from becoming deficient, and breaking down their hard-earned muscle.

You should expect to see results in the first month if you stick to the workout and meal plan that I give you.
Q.12 Do I have to give up on my favourite foods? Am I supposed to eat quinoa and greens most of the time to get the results?
Absolutely not!
It’s important to have the option to have a "free meal" or cheat meal as some call it. It will give you something to look forward to and help you feel that your ‘diet’ is something you can stick with.

I try my best to "bring-to-life" the basic food groups, to make them exciting rather than dull, bland and boring. Good food is actually not super-expensive, it’s mainly the condiments that are costly, and I don't include too many sauces as a base or too many processed ingredients. ​S​auces can be expensive and the tricky culprit that add inches to your waistline.
Q.13 What are the typical results you can get with this program?
I can guarantee that if our clients stick to their plans, they will continue to drop body fat, and this can be measured both with callipers and by doing consistent waist measurements.

If clients would like to be more specific, they can pay to get either a DEXA scan or a Bod Pod scan, which are considered the premium standard in body composition testing.

Having said that, the results can vary. So let me share with you what some of my clients have achieved working with me.

We’ve had female clients decrease up to 10% body fat and increase between 1 to 2 kgs . One example was a client who lost a total of 8 kgs in 12 weeks, but when we got her Bod pod results back, she had put on 4 kgs of muscle and lost 8 kgs of fat.....which was extraordinary!

Initially once a woman has build an ideal amount of muscle for her frame, it becomes increasingly more difficult to build even the smallest amount of extra muscle, hence why it is never the case that someone could just wake up one day and realise that they have put on too much muscle....it is a long process, and what I call the slowest growing garden in the world!

For one particular client, who didn't get these body scans, yet was extremely disciplined with her program and eating plan, she lost just over 20kgs. HUGE WIN!

For guys, that have trained with me, we have achieved over 5kgs of lean muscle mass and a decrease of 10% body fat.

Often a person’s final 5 kgs is the hardest to lose, and this is also something I specialise in achieving. The body needs to be completely confident that both the training you are doing and the foods that you are consuming are going to be your "new normal". As soon as this happens, it becomes much easier to lose those last 5-10 kgs, because there is a regular flow of good quality nutrients which will mean the body won’t have to "store as much" and will free "give away" the stored energy (fat) that you have attached to your body......just in case winter hits unexpectedly!
Q.14 Is this for all fitness levels? What if I’m a beginner, can I still do this? 
Yes and yes!
Q.15 What if I have questions AFTER I join the program? Will you be answering them?
Absolutely! You can schedule a call with me or we can chat about it on FB Messenger. I’ll personally respond to your messages within a 48 hour period. You are never alone or stranded!
